An abundance of damselflies are laying eggs on and around weedbeds during the month. There are times when a dry fly will bring success, but stick to fishing the nymph for best results.

Buzzers

Buzzers hatch all year round, and are most prolific through the summer months.

On hot brightdays, fish really deep with a bloodworm or quick sinking buzzer. FGish at the surface on cloudier days.
