Red Tag Days have been running for three years now, and provide an all inclusive 'learn to fish' day out on one of the South West Lakes Trust venues.
They are particularly suitable for beginners and improvers, and will take you through casting mechanics, leaders, flies, knots, hooking, playing and landing a fish, a 1 fish ticket and even includes the EA rod licence for the day, courtesy of the Angling Trust. A fly dressing demonstration also shows you how the flies are actually created.
What to bring? - Any fly tackle you may have, warm clothes, wellies or waders, covid ppe, picnic chair, and your food and drink. I will supply the rest.
